United Way Emerging Leaders
United Way Emerging Leaders' Society (ELS) is designed for young professionals who want to engage with the community to make it the best place to live for all our children and their families. ELS and its members support United Way’s focus on the building blocks for a better life - Education, Income, and Health - to create a brighter future for all in our community.
Why Get Involved?
Emerging Leaders are individuals who want to make a real difference in our community. United Way offers this dynamic group of young professionals many opportunities to get involved in the community, volunteer, grow professionally, network, and gain skills that will help them become community leaders in the North Penn and Indian Valley areas.
The mission of the North Penn United Way Emerging Leaders Society is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of emerging leaders who give, advocate and volunteer. Their shared vision is to build a stronger future for the North Penn and Indian Valley Communities by supporting Emerging Leaders Society Members in their effort to connect, serve and lead.
Commitments from Members of Emerging Leaders Society:
- Volunteer 20 hours a year around education, income and health issues
- Enlist other individuals to accompany the efforts of the Emerging Leaders and help build caring relationships
- Recruit businesses to join the campaign and help continue to make a difference
