Partner Agencies of the North Penn United Way provide health and human services identified by trained United Way volunteers as high priorities in our community. Each partner agency is reevaluated every year to ensure each meets the highest standards, both fiscally and programmatically. Every full-member agency is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, governed by local volunteers, employs a professional staff, and provides a services to the North Penn and Indian Valley community. Each agency has an established record of service, is financially stable, and has a system to evaluate the outcomes and effectiveness of United Way-funded programs.

Generations, formerly the Senior Adult Activity Center (SAAC), is a full-service Center serving active older adults age 55 and over with programs in health and fitness, recreation, education, and nutrition. Many intergenerational programs and community partnerships bring a wide variety to Center programming. The Generations also provides the Meals on Wheels program for 7 surrounding municipalities and served over 31,500 meals in the community last year through the assistance of over 215 volunteers. All together, the Center's Meals on Wheels programs, noontime meal programs, and Adult Day Services lunch programs provide over 53,000 meals each year to community residents. Improvements to the Generation's food services facilities were made possible, in part, through Community Impact funding from the North Penn United Way. For seniors who require personal support, the Center offers an Adult Day Services program in partnership with the NP Visiting Nurse Association. Social services include counseling, information and referral, legal aid, tax assistance, PACE and LIHEAP assistance and guidance on Medicare issues.

The mission of Indian Creek Foundation is to provide opportunities for people with developmental disabilities to live in and enrich their community while meeting their vocational, family, personal, and spiritual needs throughout their lives. United Way funds and supports S.T.A.R., a popular socialization and recreational program offering weekly activities at three separate locations. The program is open to adults with developmental disabilities ages 16 and older, large group trips and smaller mini trips to various cultural events, amusements, and sporting events are offered. The Supported Employment Program also receives United Way funding. This program helps individuals with disabilities obtain competitive employment in the community.

Summoned by emergency service providers, volunteers are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. There are 120 Girl Scout troops actively involved in the North Penn area. Annually the girls collect and distribute baby items to Community Housing, IVOC, Morningstar Ministry and Healthy Beginnings Plus at Grand View Hospital. The troops provide complete dinners to be distributed at holidays. They visit and entertain for residents at Dock Village, St. Mary's, Rockhill Mennonite and Paradise Manor. They provide crafts for SAAC Meals on Wheels. Groups prepare valentines for military personnel overseas and the local Veterans Hospital.
